A message from Bill Schiek, Executive Director, Dairy Institute of California
On behalf of Dairy Institute, I want to thank each of you and your staffs for the efforts that you are all making to keep our food supply chain intact, and for your tireless work in keeping our customers and consumers supplied with the vital food products they need. As you are well aware, the food industry is critical to the health and wellbeing of all our citizens, both in California and in the rest of the country. We realize that you and your employees are working long hours to keep the vital supplies flowing, so again I want to say, “Thank You!”
Dairy Institute and its staff are available to assist you in any way we can. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you need anything. We are in regular contact with the folks at CDFA who are coordinating with the Governor’s Office, the California Department of Public Health, and the Office of Emergency Services. We can help get questions answered and relay information about any challenges you are having to the appropriate authorities.
We will be posting updates on this page as we receive them, so we encourage you to check it frequently. If you have additional questions or need anything, call our office.
These are challenging times for our industry and our country. Dairy Institute is here to assist you in any way we can. The work you do at your company and the extraordinary efforts you are making are the things that will keep all of us going as we fight the pandemic.
